The Trigony House Hotel & Garden Spa is located just north of Closeburn before the village of Thornhill, in the beautiful Nith Valley, surrounded by the rolling Kier hills & woodland of Dumfriesshire in South West Scotland.

Standing in beautiful mature woodland and gardens, Trigony House Hotel is a luxury Scottish Country House with a combination of a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, excellent rustic cuisine and friendly local staff. We love to welcome all our guests and their furry friends and can organise a range of activies from classic car rides and relaxing spa treatments to horse riding and falconry during your stay.

At Trigony Hotel, we specialise in relaxed short breaks and luxury country breaks in our wee corner of south west Scotland in the heart of Dumfries & Galloway and it’s a great place to explore this hidden corner of Scotland whether you want leisurely strolls around the hotel grounds and local countryside or to explore further afield into the beautiful rolling hills of the Southern Uplands to the north and the dramatic cliff top walks of the Solway Coast to the south. And because we are a dog friendly hotel you are more than welcome to bring your four-legged friend too.

Trigony House Hotel has 9 well appointed rooms, which are very different from each other in size and layout but all are en-suite with their own bathroom and have their own character. Our larger rooms have a small comfortable seating area and the Garden Suite has it’s own conservatory and private garden. Free Wifi access throughout.

Within the grounds of Trigony House Hotel we have created a separate, private space where you can truly relax, unwind and be inspired by nature. The stunning views from the wood fired Swedish hot tub, Finnish sauna cabin and treatment areas compliment our natural beauty therapies and help you re-balance body and mind.
