The Crinan Hotel is a magnificently eccentric hotel in Argyll on Scotland's beautiful west coast.
The Hotel is situated on the waterfront at Loch Crinan 6.5 miles from Lochgilphead and 35 miles from Oban.
There has been an inn on this site for over 300 years and the Crinan Hotel has been owned by the Ryan family for over 40 years. Our guests are treated to many original and authentic touches and a charming artistic flair. Visitors enjoy genuine warmth and colourful hospitality in a hotel which respects its history and place in a stunning and wild environment.
All our hotel bedrooms have been individually designed by Frances Macdonald and all have views either to the canal basin or over Loch Crinan and out towards the sound of Jura, and the islands of Scarba and Mull.
At Crinan Hotel we have 20 bedrooms over three floors of the hotel and a lift to get you there if you feel so inclined.
From each of the hotel's bedrooms - many with private balconies - guests can take in the panoramic views of Argyll's rugged west coast, historic castles and the ever-changing collection of boats in the canal basin.
The rooms are all ensuite with shower or bath (or both), tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, terrestrial television, telephone (FREE UK landline calls) and complimentary toiletries.
The Westward Restaurant offers fine views and is just the place for a relaxing evening meal. Enjoy the sunset with a five-course menu and coffee. The Seafood Bar has an 'a la carte' menu and is perfect for lunch or dinner. On a fine day you can enjoy lunch outside overlooking the canal.
Well behaved dogs have always been made welcome at the Crinan Hotel.
