The Craigellachie

Built in 1893, where the rivers Fiddich and Spey come together, the small 26-room hotel stands at the very heart of Speyside and its malt whisky trail. Macallan and Aberlour are two of the hotel’s closest neighbours.

Speyside is the largest whisky region in the world with over half of Scotland’s distilleries and the Quaich bar is one of the world’s leading whisky bars. With over 900 whiskies lining its walls, The Quaich is the perfect setting in which to enjoy a guided whisky tasting or a modern twist on a classic whisky cocktail, mixed by our expert and locally renown bartenders.

Our 26 room hotel feels like a countryside family home: Johnston’s of Elgin cashmere topped mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets and classically designed bathrooms. Five of the rooms have access to the garden, with dog beds available on request for our four legged guests. Choose from The Snug, Comfy or Comfy Deluxe rooms – a little slice of Speyside awaits you.

Our little pub is constantly busy with people – both locals and travellers from far and wide. At our copper bar you’ll find a selection of beers from local craft breweries alongside the familiar favourite ales and a large cocktail list, full of delicious whisky cocktails. The Copper Dog pub is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

We have a beautiful traditional private dining room that sits up to 22 people for lunch or dinner.
