Seaview Cottage

Seaview Cottage, Crail is a traditional cottage in a peaceful south facing location with open views to the sea. The cottage sits in its own land, with a large lawn and garden to the front of the house. There is a patio area and also a small walled-in garden area. The house accommodates 4 people and has parking for 3 cars. Dogs may be permitted, on request. Beautiful beaches nearby and close to St Andrews, the home of golf.

Lovingly restored by the Duffy family, guests will enjoy its welcoming ambience with open fire, original wood doors, exposed stone walls, fresh flowers and comfortable cottage furnishings. The house is a traditional East Fife coastal design with whitewashed walls, crow steps and red pan tile roof.

The house has a relaxing and homely atmosphere and retains a great many of the original features, such as the hooks hanging from the ceiling where the hams were once smoked.

The lounge is comfortably furnished, with an open fire and books, games and small tv. There are two twin rooms and all beds have electric blankets, duvets and pillows. Linen and towels are provided. There is background heating throughout and also fuel is provided for the open fire. The kitchen retains a traditional look with stone wall, pine units and dining table. There is an electric cooker, washing machine and microwave oven. There is a large bathroom with a bath and shower.

Seaview is available from May to September on a weekly minimum rental basis (Saturday-Saturday) and is an idyllic retreat for couples and families alike.

In the area where Seaview Cottage is located, known as the 'East Neuk of Fife', there is a good selection of activities and attractions to suit everyone. There are good walks around the cottage. perfect for dogs. The beaches, golf courses, tennis courts and the village of Crail are all in walking distance of the cottage.

Fresh local produce is widely available in and around Crail. Fish and seafood can be bought direct from Crail’s picturesque harbour.
