Bring your own caravan, motor-caravan or tent and set up where ever you wish in the designated areas, whether you choose a sheltered spot amongst the sand dunes or a raised pitch with unrivalled views, our large spacious site has something for everyone.

For something a bit different why not try our wigwam cabins, a fun alternative and unique holiday experience, camping outdoors with all the comfort of your own heated, wooden wigwam.

Prefer some luxury, then we have five thistle graded holiday caravan homes. All have a spacious living area with attractive soft furnishings where the whole family can relax.

Sands is an ideal base to explore the best of Wester Ross, with the famous Torridon mountains to the south and the world renowned Inverewe Gardens to the north.

We have a licensed grocery shop open from April to October selling freshly baked bread, newspapers, groceries, caravan and camping equipment, toys, books, kites, camping and calor gas, really most things you need for your holiday.

On site there is a laundry with 4 washing machines, 4 dryers and an iron - all coin operated. We also have:

The caravan and camping park is run on an informal basis, the site is divided into two main areas one for camping and one for caravans. Giving you the freedom to choose your own spot anywhere in the camping or caravan area.

• Three heated toilet and shower blocks, providing ample facilities
• Disabled facilities
• 135 electric hook ups, dotted about in caravan and camping area
• Chemical toilet disposal point
• Purpose built Motorhome service point

Dogs are welcome on the site provided they are kept on a lead and dogs’ faeces picked up.

Gairloch, a traditional crofting and fishing village, is situated 3 miles from Sands and has much to offer the holiday maker including shops, post office and a vet.
