The Nithsdale Hotel is a family run Hotel in the Royal Burgh Of Sanquhar, Dumfries and Galloway. Situated in the picturesque Upper Nithsdale valley and is only an hour from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, with regular train service from Sanquhar to Glasgow and connections to Edinburgh.

The hotel offers great food at the Oasis Restaurant, 14 ensuite rooms, relaxing bar with log fire and friendly locals, function room and beer garden. We are dog friendly with two resident dogs. The area offers stunning walks. Please feel welcome to come and stay.

We are happy to rent out ebikes to our hotel guests. For those who want to bring their own bikes, we have excellent storage facilities. After being greeted by our resident dogs Pippa & Sonny, you can relax with a cocktail in front of our coal fire, or enjoy a bar meal while taking advantage of our wide range of sports channels.

We have recently opened the Athena beauty and make up studio in the hotel offering a wide range of treatments varying from massage, manicure, pedicures and many more to accommodate guests to have a thoroughly relaxing stay.
