The Manor House Hotel and Restaurant in Oban provides superlative dining and accommodation in a Georgian Villa on Oban Harbour built for the Duke of Argyll in 1780.

Our chefs create a unique menu each day focusing on the best of local seafood, meats and produce.

All of our eleven rooms are individually decorated with fine fabrics and all the small touches that give you an exemplary 4 star hotel experience, second to none in Oban. Set on the southern side of Oban Harbour it has stunning views of the town, McCaig’s Tower and the islands of Lismore and Mull.

We have eleven bedrooms. The Manor House is a listed historical building, consequently the rooms are cosy. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated with all modern conveniences including complimentary wireless internet. Five rooms have wonderful views of Oban Harbour and Oban Bay.

Two of the sea-view rooms and one of the rooms looking over the front lawn are larger in size. One room is on the ground floor and is good for those wishing to avoid stairs.

Molton Brown toiletries await you in the en suite bathrooms. Binoculars are available for use in the sea-view rooms.

The Manor House is particularly known for it’s beautifully restored Dining Room which is open both to residents and non-residents each evening.

Informal lunches and drinks are served in the Manor House Bar and lovely Drawing Room which, like the Dining Room, have magnificent views over Oban Bay, the adjacent islands and the mountains of Morvern and the Isle of Mull.

Guests of the Manor House now have complimentary use of the Feel Good Fitness gym which is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

With a charge of £15, a small dog is welcome if arranged in advance but cannot be left unattended in the room or allowed in public rooms.
