Katie’s Flat

Katie’s flat is a luxurious and comfortable base for exploring Oban and the surrounding islands. At Katie’s Flat we have paid great attention to the comfort of our guests by using luxury brands wherever possible such as The White Company, Laura Ashley, Cath Kidston, Harris Tweed and Emma Bridgewater. Pets are also very welcome at Katie’s Flat.

The accommodation comprises a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom.

In the living room there are two comfortable Next leather sofas accessorised with Harris Tweed cushions, blanket and lamp shades with Laura Ashley lamp bases. The coffee and side tables are solid oak. There is a Hitachi 43” inch 4k ultra HD smart LED tv with built in Netflix and Youtube.

We use only the finest linen from The White Company in the bedroom and the duvet is made with hypoallergenic goose feathers. The bedroom has a Hitachi 32 inch LED smart TV / DVD combi with built in Youtube and Netflix. The bedroom is fitted with double mirror wardrobes.

The kitchen has just been renovated with a brand new top of the range Wren Kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with NEF oven, hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Samsung fridge with water dispenser, freezer, microwave, George Foreman Grill, DAB radio, kettle and toaster. There is a breakfast bar which seats two comfortably.

The bathroom has also recently been renovated and comprises a toilet, wash hand basin and spa bath with an overhead shower. We also now have underfloor heating.

Private parking is available right outside the flat. Guests have their own private decking area and patio furniture. Electricity, linen, wi-fi, toiletries and welcome tray are included in the price.

At Katie’s Flat we do take pets by arrangement. We understand that most of our clientele would want to take their dog with them on holiday rather than leaving them with strangers at the kennels. Being dog owners ourselves we will do our best to accommodate your four legged friend.

There are lots of great forestry commission walks, beaches and cycle tracks to walk your dog in the area and they can also accompany you on the ferries for free. We charge £5 extra per night for a dog.

Oban offers an abundance of restaurants, cafes and bars many with live music and ceilidh. Oban seafood restaurants must be visited. They are renowned for serving locally caught fresh lobster, langoustine, mussels and salmon. The family or sport enthusiast can enjoy excellent opportunities for diving, sailing, rambling, cycling and climbing within Oban and Lorn.
