I have owned my own businesses for around 20 years, the first I sold as a going concern. I now do some mobile work but mostly work from home in our cosy little workshop which is especially designed to look just like a room in our house. We feel this gives a cosy atmosphere for both dogs and customers, helping them be more relaxed than in a large commercial establishment. We take one customer at a time so it is never busy or noisy, and your pet gets one-to-one attention.

I have done both pet and show grooming for many years in several countries and even qualified a customers pet poodle for Crufts after trimming her up and showing her! At least 12 individual dogs have qualified for, or been exhibited at Crufts, after coming to me for grooming.

I have spent many years researching and attending courses to improve on my skills. I have been privileged to train several other groomers and help them achieve awards, qualifications and even start their own businesses. I enjoy teaching and one of the services I offer is individually tailored half and full day courses, to teach people how to groom their own pet at home. I also specialise in socialisation experiences for baby puppies, teaching them to be handled and groomed early avoids many issues that can arise as they get older, and makes the experience much more pleasant for both dog and owner (and groomer!).
