Greenbank is located 4 miles north of Tarbert in the hamlet of Bunavoneader, a peaceful haven overlooking West Loch Tarbert. The property sleeps up to 4 people and is an ideal rural base for couples or a family of four.

This home from home offers peace and tranquility in a rural setting with an open outlook over West Loch Tarbert. Mountains surround the property and Greenbank shelters in the lee of the majestic Clisham, the highest peak on the Isle of Harris. It is an ideal base for couples or a family of four.

Accommodation includes:

• 2 bedrooms - a master king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom
• Living room with open fire (hand-crafted fireplace sourced from Harris stone) and patio door
• Dining area through open archway off living room
• Large well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar
• Bathroom with large bath, toilet and separate shower
• Additional separate toilet
• Oil filled central heating
• Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, televisions with freesat, DVD player and CD player
• Own private enclosed garden with decking and picnic table
• Parking area adjacent to the garden (directly beside the kitchen)

Bed linen and towels are provided. Pets are very welcome.

The property is accessible via two (2) entrance steps. All rooms are mainly on one level (except there is one internal step between the kitchen and living room and one internal step down into the bathroom).

The beautiful beaches on the west coast of Harris are perfect for picnics whilst the east coast has a more dramatic lunar rocky landscape. Touring Harris and the adjoining Isle of Lewis feels like exploration of the many many galleries, craft and tweed outlets, places to eat, museums and archaeological sites.

2021/2022: Price per week is currently £600 (high season) and £500 (low season). Only week-long lets (Saturday to Saturday) are available in the high season. A minimum of 3 nights stay is required in the low season at £100 per night. The price includes all electricity and oil for the central heating. Coal, kindling and logs are initially provided for the open fire and additional supplies are available for purchase locally if required.
