It is a stone's throw from the sea with superb uninterrupted views across the bay and is located conveniently in the middle of the island next to the pier. The award winning museum is across the road while the island shop is a short walk up the road.
The Lodge has recently undergone extensive renovation making a modern comfortable house whilst retaining all the original features.
It has three double bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen, sitting room and bathroom. The house benefits from the space and privacy of being inside the Leagarth estate walls but also has its own pretty private garden and parking area. There is free 24 hour wifi and well behaved pets are also welcome.
The Master bedroom is South facing with a large bay window which gives magnificent views of the bay and garden. It has a pretty kingsize bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers cum dressing table. A hairdryer is supplied.
The second bedroom is a similar size to the Master Bedroom and also faces South with two windows offering the same wonderful views over the garden and bay. It has twin beds which can be turned into a Super Kingsize bed if necessary for larger parties.
The third bedroom looks up the hill. It is the smallest of the three bedrooms but comfortably fits a double bed and chest of drawers.

The sitting room faces South and is very light and airy with a large bay window overlooking the garden and sea beyond. It has a comfortable sofa and armchairs, a new TV with multiple channels and is well equipped with games and books for visitors.
There is also a separate utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Fetlar has wonderful birdwatching and coastal walks. The birds can be seen everywhere and in particular in the RSPB hide at Funzie. The walks are well marked all over the island and are easy to access.
There several fantastic beaches, the large white sands at Tresta, the little cove of Paradise Sands at Gruting to name but two. Usually you will have them entirely to yourself!
