The Crail Posthouse is a luxury pet friendly holiday home in the heart of historic East Neuk lobster fishing village.

Crail Posthouse is situated in the East Fife village of Crail, app 10 miles south of St Andrews and 50 miles north of Edinburgh.

We know it’s disappointing to arrive at a lovely self catering property and find polyester sheets, limited toiletries, rationed dishwasher tablets, no basic foods. We take a different approach. We feel you should arrive to find all the basics you need - and more - included in the price so you can start enjoying even a short weekend break right away without rushing to the shops. Our focus is on items chosen for quality not price, including organic, environmentally friendly and fairtrade products.

Rental price includes gas, electricity, heating, linen & towels, starter pack and toiletries.

We provide a Welcome Pack which contains many essential items including bread, butter, eggs, milk, chilled prosecco, chocolate etc. and a variety of kitchen basics.

The area is very dog friendly as are we and well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement (£15 per dog).

Crail still retains a thriving sense of community with local shops, galleries & cafes and is an ideal centre for coast walking, golf, cycling or simply relaxing in the sea air and a very convenient base for exploring St Andrews and the fishing villages of the East Neuk.
