Brackenhill House

Brackenhill is a very comfortable 4 bedroom bungalow situated at Camusdarach Beach with stunning views of the Inner Hebridean Islands. It is an ideal location for family holidays, as well as those seeking a more relaxed and romantic getaway, in the Scottish West Highlands.

Brackenhill sleeps up to eight and is ideal for large families or two smaller families sharing. The accommodation comprises a spacious lounge with spectacular sea views; an open plan family room with a large picture window giving views to Eigg; dining room; kitchen; two double en suite bedrooms; two twin rooms; and a family bathroom.

It is a quiet and remote location looking down on to a horseshoe bay with superb sea views to the islands of Muck, Eigg, and Skye. There is a choice of beautiful white sandy beaches only a 3 to 5 minute walk from Brackenhill and there are no roads to cross, just a short walk through fields. Mallaig and Arisaig are both within a 10 minutes coastal drive and offer a wide range of facilities and attractions.

The four bedrooms will sleep up to 8 people comprising master bedroom (sea views) with en suite bath, separate electric shower and toilet; super king/twin bedroom (please specify choice of super king or two singles when booking) with en suite electric shower and toilet; and two twin bedrooms (sea views). The second twin room is primarily suited to children as it provides access to master bedroom. There is a travel cot and high chair with limited baby bedding. There are three hair-dryers and complimentary toiletries provided. There is an additional family bathroom with bath, toilet. The utility room is equipped with washing machine, tumble drier, additional fridge and a bean to cup coffee machine with coffee beans provided. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The well equipped kitchen includes a double oven, microwave, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. There are of shops within a short drive of the house.

Brackenhill has unlimited wi-fi, Sky TV and a DVD player and a phone for incoming calls. There is a small collection of DVD's, a number of board games, books and a hi-fi with connection for iPods and other personal music devices through the earphone jack.

Externally, there is a large mature sunny west facing sheltered garden with views to Muck, Eigg and the Point of Sleat on Skye. The small wooded area in the garden provides privacy and shelter.There is car parking for up to four cars.

There is access to beautiful white sand beaches within 3 - 5 minutes walk of the house and there are no roads to cross making it ideal for families with young children. Dogs are very welcome.
