Welcome to Belnaboth East cottage in quiet picturesque Glenbuchat, in the Strathdon area of Aberdeenshire.

Experience the luxury and comfort of this charming refurbished cottage situated in the South Glenbuchat Estate within the Cairngorm National Park.

Belnaboth East is a modern 2 bed roomed bungalow which has been completely refurbished within the last two years to a very high standard. The cottage offers spacious comfortable accommodation on one level, with double glazing and oil-fired central heating throughout.

The cottage is set in its own extensive grounds of 1 acre with ample parking space.

A maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs will be welcome by prior arrangement - an outdoor kennel is available.

This is an ideal base for experiencing a wide range of local activities. The Cairngorm National Park offers walking, climbing, winter and summer sports, and the cottage is on the doorstep of Aberdeenshire’s Castle Trail, the Speyside Whisky Trail and the stunning Moray coast.

Belnaboth East offers well laid-out, bright and modern accommodation on one level.

The lounge area of this L-shaped room offers comfortable seating, an open log burning fire, a 42” Freesat TV, a Blu-ray DVD player, and 5.1 surround sound. There are bookcases with a large selection of bedtime reading to suit all the family, plus local guide books and maps. There is also a wide range of brochures for places of interest, and a large selection of DVDs. The dining area has a large dining table with seating for 6 people, plus a sideboard.

There is a spacious, modern, well-fitted and equipped kitchen with a shelved larder and all crockery, cutlery, pans, dish towels etc. are provided.

The double bedroom has a king sized bed with pine headboard, a triple pine wardrobe, matching pine chest of drawers and oak bedside cabinets. Off this room is an en-suite with shower cubicle (Mira instant shower), WC and washbasin with mirror above, electric shaving point and electric radiator/heated towel rail. The spacious twin bedroom has two single divan beds with pine headboards, 2 pine chests of drawers, matching bedside cabinets and large pine wardrobe.

The front garden is fully enclosed. It is mainly in lawn with a small pond and a number of elderberry trees, below which are a ‘host of golden daffodils’ in springtime.

There is a patio area with hardwood garden furniture. This is a lovely place to sit and unwind and watch for the deer and pheasants, or admire the golden grain in the fields in the summer time.

The back garden is also fully enclosed. It is on different levels and is mostly in lawn. There are a number of blackcurrant bushes and fruit trees, and an even bigger ‘host of golden daffodils’. There is a clothes dryer, and to the north side of the house there is a wooden kennel with a run and indoor sleeping area.

Glenbuchat lies about 45 miles east of Aberdeen in Upper Donside, and is well situated to offer visitors a wide variety of interesting and historical places to explore, and plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy.
