Alba Cottage

Alba Cottage is situated in Craighouse just a short 15 min walk from the village store, hotel, distillery etc, it has two double bedrooms and one single with central heating throughout.

There is a beautiful sandy beach just 50 metres in front of the house.

The living area has seating for 5 with a large wood burning stove ( wood is supplied ) it has a huge picture window with fantastic views over small isles bay and across to the mainland.

Free Sat, DVD player and IPod dock are provided, unlimited Wi Fi Internet access and electricity are included within the price.

There is a patio area at the rear of the property with a table and chairs provided and there is parking for two cars at the front of the house.

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer, full size oven with halogen hob, micro wave, washing machine, dishwasher, table and chairs.

The bathroom has a bath with electric shower above. Hand towels are supplied, please bring your own bath towels, should you require bath towels, we can supply them for a small extra charge.

The period of let is from Sunday to Sunday or Saturday to Saturday by prior arrangement. The letting period runs from 3.30p.m. on the day of arrival to 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

With an incredible six mating pairs now on the island, Jura has become one of only eight designated Special Protection Areas for the Golden Eagle in the UK. We also have four pairs of nesting Sea Eagles on Jura which are often seen flying over Craighouse and Small Isles Bay.

Dogs may be allowed by special arrangement with the owners.
